UNIONVILLE, MO. -- A visit to a Heartland woman by children’s services, ends with the woman in custody on felony charges.

    
Bridgett Selvy, 34, of Unionville,Mo., is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, keeping or maintaining a public nuisance, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. She is being held in the Davies-DeKalb Regional Jail under $40,000 bond.

    
According to court papers, Unionville police accompanied a childrens services worker to the Selvy residence following a hotline call. At the home police found used syringes, two glass pipes and a small plastic baggie, with a white powdery substance inside.

    
Selvy is being prosecuted as a prior offender after pleading guilty to two felony charges in Putnam County back in 2003.

    
Selvy has been arraigned in Putnam County associate circuit court, her next court appearance is set for April 1.
