Noise complaint leads to meth arrest

55-year old Robert J. McFeely, of kirksville is sitting behind bars facing one count of possession of a controlled substance, and another felony count of manufacturing a controlled substance.

KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- A Heartland man faces felony charges for allegedly manufacturing a controlled substance.

55-year old Robert J. McFeely, of Kirksville is sitting behind bars facing one count of possession of a controlled substance, and another felony count of manufacturing a controlled substance.

This comes after Kirksville Police got a call about a noise complaint, which lead to officers finding items used to make methamphetamine.

McFeely was found in the bathroom allegedly preventing officers from gaining entry.

Mcfeely was reportedly trying to destroy any evidence of meth by flushing it down the toilet. Officers did observed a white powdery substance around the seat of the toilet and found several other paraphernalia used to make meth throughout the trailer home.

Mcfeely and three others were placed under arrest.

He is being held in the Adair County Jail on a $75,000 cash-only bond.
