KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- Kirksville Downtown Improvement Committee (KDIC) met Tuesday night to discuss ways to keep the committee going.

The meeting began with the approval of the financial report.

The committee discussed membership, events, and up coming goals.

Many of the members expressed how happy they were that their Valentine’s Day window challenge was a success, and they hope to keep the momentum going.

“Well we've got another window decorating contest next month, that’s going to be for Saint Patrick day and the theme is bring your green downtown,” KDIC President Justin Tallman said. “We hope to have a good turnout as we did for Valentines Day. We had over 18 businesses for Valentines Day and were hoping for more for Saint Patrick’s Day.”

Sparks said KDIC is starting a membership drive next month, and it hopes to get more businesses involved with KDIC.
