KIRKSVILLE, MISSOURI -- A Heartland man, who is already in jail, is now facing additional charges.

Billy Graham, 45, Kirksville, who was arrested less than two weeks ago a meth possession charge, is now also charged with manufacturing meth, an additional count of possession of meth and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. He’s currently being held in the Adair County Jail under a total of $100,000 cash only bond.

Graham was arraigned on the new charges Wednesday in Adair County Associate Court. According to court papers, had been observed buying numerous items that could be used to manufacture methamphetamine. When Graham was searched by an officer, they found a small plastic bag with a white powder. The powder later field tested positive for meth. When Graham's vehicle was searched, several items known to be used in the manufacture of meth, were discovered.

He was denied a bond reduction and his preliminary hearing has been set for February 6, 2013.
