Admits having sex with victim under 14, headed to prison

Dustin Kirkwood, 26, Unionville Mo. admitted to sex charges.

UNIONVILLE, MISSOURI -- A northeast Missouri man, who entered guilty pleas to two sex related felony counts, is headed to prison.

Dustin Kirkwood, 26, of Unionville, was originally charged with three counts of first degree statutory rape and one count of first degree statutory sodomy, entered to guilty pleas to two of the counts of statutory rape. Kirkwood admitted to having sex with a victim who was under the age of 14 at the time.

Kirkwood was sentenced to seven years in prison on each count, to be served at the same time. He entered the guilty pleas back in November and has been awaiting sentencing on the charges.
