Curtis Bunnell, 38, and Latisha Bunnell 27
OTTUMWA, IOWA -- Curtis Bunnell, 38, armed robbery suspect, escaped from custody Monday morning, according to a news release from the Wapello County Sheriff's Office.
Bunnell was in the process of being transported to the Wapello County Courthouse for a court appearance. Bunnell was being held in the Wapello County Jail on $27,000 bond for first degree robbery and third degree criminal mischief.
A warrant for aiding and abetting escape has been issued for Latisha Bunnell, 27, who helped Bunnell escape.
