KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- He makes words come to life!

Award-winning storyteller and author, Brian "Fox" Ellis, will be performing at the Adair County Public Library Thursday.

The children's librarian said he will be fantastic!

“He is an educator, entertainer, naturalist, environmentalist. He's a scientist, he's a historian, and he's going to be sharing Adventures in Nature with us,” Diane Burger said. “And, I don't really know what it's going to be, but it might be going around the world on a single raindrop, or it might be finding out the secret life of fish underwater. He's got over 400 stories that he's going to be choosing from. And so, it's going to be a surprise what he will be bringing to us.”

The event is free and starts at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012.

Truman State University's School of Science and Mathematics is sponsoring the event.
