The Lady Tigers were looking to knock off Moberly for the 3^rd time this year, but after 16 days off and added pressure from districts, Moberly didn’t go down without a fight.

Moberly’s Ronni Graves tied it up in the 2^nd half with a corner jumper at 26-26.

Kirksville got back into gear with Ashton Vorkink driving the open lane, she had 16.

But it wasn’t over yet.

Moberly’s Reghan Stewart knocked down two 3s in a row to get Moberly back within 4.

With a minute left Kirksville was only up by 2 as Emily Schwend picked up lose change underneath and scored.

Kirksville won 44-37.

Kirksville plays at Mexico tomorrow at 6 p.m.

The Kirksville men were looking to play the upset role on Mexico, but they weren’t open for that kind of business.

Mexico dominated the game getting up 35-2 right before half. They went on to win 66-26.
