Truman senior Jerod Simek will represent the Bulldog men’s swimming program at the 2013 NCAA Division II National Championships on March 6-9 after being selected to compete in three freestyle events.
 
Simek returns to the national meet for the fourth time, having qualified sixth in the 1000 Free at 9:18.10, 12th in the 1650 Free at 15:44.69 and 20th in the 500 Free at 4:31.29.

 He is a seven-time All-American and placed 10th in both the 1000 and 1650 Free events last season.
 
The Championship meet is slated for March 6-9 in Birmingham, Alabama.
