Carlson Posts Massive Week:
Despite a pair of team losses last week, Mike Carlson had a great week on both ends of the court statistically, averaging 20.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.5 blocks per game.

He shot 58% from the field (14-for-24) and hit 11-of-14 free throws (78.6%).

He recorded his fifth 20+ point game of the season and eighth of his career with 24 against UCO and has now reached double-figures offensively in 13 of the team’s 14 games this year.

Scouting the Mules:
Central Missouri (10-3, 4-1 MIAA) enters the week on a four-game win streak, having just won three straight in Warrensburg following a 1-1 trip to Las Vegas before the Christmas holiday.

The Mules travel to Nebraska-Kearney on Wednesday night prior to their afternoon trip to Kirksville on Saturday. UCM is just 0-1 in true road games this season.
 
Dominique Long (14.5 ppg), Widgett Washington (11.6 ppg) and Charles Hammork (10.2) are the top three scorers for the Mules, although two other players average more than nine points per night.
 
As a team, UCM is shooting 45% from the floor, 32% from three-point range and 69% from the charity stripe.

The are out-rebounding opponents by 0.7 per game and have nearly made more free throws (220) than their opponents have taken (225).
 
Kim Anderson is in his 11
th season at UCM and has a 232-85 record at the school.
