Allie Brak finished with 13 kills, and Megan Sharpe added eight kills and nine blocks, as the 17th-ranked Truman volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 (-15, -14, -14) sweep of Lindenwood on Tuesday night.

The Bulldogs (22-4, 10-2 MIAA) won their 13th-straight match, marking the longest winning streak for the Truman program since the unprecedented 36-match win streak set during the 2006 season.

Truman hit a collective .253, sided-out at a 73% clip, and held the visiting Lions to a -.071 hitting mark in a match that saw just two ties and one lead change.

Brak was the lone player in double-figures offensively during the match, with Sharpe's eight, Abby Heise's seven and Ali Patterson's seven kills adding firepower to the Bulldog attack.

Meghan Zimmerman finished the evening with 31 assists and nine digs, narrowly missing a double-dobule, while libero Abby Moser’s 13 digs paced the Bulldog back line.

Truman’s blocking was at its peak performance, averaging four per set (12 total), with Sharpe’s nine leading the charge.

Patterson added four and Heise added three for the ’Dogs.

Kristin Burnett finished with five kills in two sets for the Lions, while Kaila Schrimpf led all players with 15 digs.

Truman returns to action this Saturday night for its annual “Dig Pink” for breast cancer awareness match when it hosts Southwest Baptist at 6:00 pm in Pershing Arena.
