Iowa State linebacker Jake Knott Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week

Iowa State senior linebacker Jake Knott has been named the Big 12's Defensive Player of the Week for the second time in his career.

Knott had six tackles in Saturday's 9-6 win at rival Iowa. Knott also made the game's biggest play when he intercepted Iowa quarterback James Vandenberg with 1:11 left to seal Iowa State's second straight win over the Hawkeyes.
Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein was tabbed the league's offensive player of the week by a panel of media members who cover the conference.
Deante' Gray of TCU was the Big 12's top performer on special teams.
