(AP) - Iowa State basketball player Bubu Palo has been arrested after being accused of sexually abusing a woman he was driving home earlier this year.
Coach Fred Hoiberg says the 21-year-old reserve point guard has been suspended indefinitely.
Palo and another man, Spencer Cruise, were charged with second-degree sexual abuse and facing a court appearance after surrendering to authorities on Friday. It was not clear if they have an attorney.
The criminal complaint says the men offered to give a woman a ride home on May 18 but instead drove her to a home owned by Cruise's family and "committed a sex act by force against the victim's will."
Police say evidence includes both men's DNA and test results only recently came back from a crime lab.
