Kim English and Marcus Denmon selected in the NBA Draft

(AP) -- The Detroit Pistons have selected Missouri guard Kim English with the 44th pick in the NBA draft.
The 6-foot-6 English averaged 14.5 points per game and shot 46 percent from 3-point range in his senior season with the Tigers.
English finished 13th all time in career scoring (1,570) and fourth in three pointers made (239).
The San Antonio Spurs selected Missouri guard Marcus Denmon with the 59th pick in the NBA draft .
Denmon played four seasons at Missouri and led the Tigers in scoring the last two years.
He was a Second Team All-American after averaging 17 points and five reonds a game.
It was the first time since 1989 that two Missouri players were taken in the same draft.
