The Maharishi girls defeated Holy Trinity 5-1 and won the Fort Madison Regional

They will play the winner of the Grinnell and Camanche match tomorrow in the 1st round of the state team tournament.

Maharishi defeated Chariton 5-0 and Pella 5-1 on Saturday in their substate matches on Saturday.

The Pioneers have qualified to be in the state team competition May 29th along with Boone, St.Edmond-Fort Dodge, and Assumption-Davenport.

Maharishi boys have finished second in state three years in a row and the state team champions 7 of the past 8 years (Dubuque Wahlert) are already out
