Junior Jessica Tomash fired a first-round 84 to pace the Truman golf team in round one action at the Upper Iowa University Invitational on Friday afternoon.

The Bulldogs shot a team score of 350 to place seventh in the nine-team field through the first 18 holes.

Tomash posted a consistent 42-42 to lead Truman, while Lynn Dreisilker added an 87.

Jessica Schepker turned in an 88 to rank third on the team, Liz Lestmann carded a 91, and Riley Keltner shot a 94. 

Laura Heien shot a 95 as an individual to round out the Bulldog contingent.
 
Augustana (S.D.) College is leading the field with a team score of 320 behind Maggie Leland’s individual lead score of 76.
