La Plata scored four runs in the first inning and they lead St. Elizabeth 4 to 1 after two innings of play.

St. Elizabeth would score six runs in the third inning and the hornets lead it 7 to 4.

La Plata would get three of those runs back in the fifth to tie the score at seven.

The hornets would score in in the bottom of the fifth to make it 8 to 7.

La Plata would score two runs in the seventh with two out Taylor Wheeler had the game winner as the bulldogs win it 9 to 8.

La Plata will now face Liberal tommorow at four for the class one state championship.
