Davis County baseball team ranked number one

The Davis County Baseball team will open the season as the state's best Class 2A team.
The Mustangs, state-semifinalists last year, were named the number one team in the state by the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association today.
The Van Buren Warriors were the only other area team selected, the Warriors are fourth in Class 2A.
Davis County finished last season 34-2.
