Marlins Reel In Cardinals

(AP) -- Ricky Nolasco pitched six strong inningsand the Florida Marlins used a four-run third inning to beat theSt. Louis Cardinals 4-1 on Monday.
Nolasco, who earned his first win of the spring in only hisfourth appearance, retired 15 consecutive batters during onestretch before Ryan Theriot's single in the sixth. Nolasco gave uponly two hits while striking out three.
Cardinals starter Jake Westbrook retired the first two battersof the third, then allowed the next six to reach base - five onconsecutive hits.
John Buck had the big hit, a two-run double that one-hopped thecenter-field wall. Buck then scored the final run of the inning onWestbrook's wild pitch.
The Cardinals avoided the shutout when pinch-hitter Tyler Henlysingled home Nick Stavinoha in the ninth.
