(AP) -- St. Louis Rams offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur has emerged as one of the candidates for the head coaching vacancy of the Cleveland Browns.

The Rams last night said they've granted permission for the Browns to speak with Shurmur about the job. They're also planning to talk with Atlanta offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey.
