DES MOINES, IOWA (AP) -- The Iowa womens basketball team remains at No. 14 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll.

The Hawkeyes (12-1) are ranked just behind fellow Big Ten contenders Michigan State and Ohio State. The Spartans are 12th in the poll, which was released Monday, while the Buckeyes are No. 13.

Iowa has won five straight games heading into league play, which starts Thursday at Penn State.

Iowa State (8-2) moved up one spot to 20th. The Cyclones host Florida A&M, Prairie View A&M and Chicago State this week.
