The Truman Baseball team will accepting signups for their annual winter hitting league and one-day Pitching & Catching Camp.  The camp will be Saturday, Jan. 9th in Pershing Arena with the hitting league beginning the following day on Jan. 10th.

The one day camp on Jan. 9th will teach pitchers and catchers proper warm-ups, mechanics and drills for their upcoming summer season.  The camp, for ages 8-18, will run from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  Cost of the camp is $40.00 with the deadline being January 4th.  (Walkups are welcome).

The hitting league features four-player teams that will compete against other teams within their grade division.  Members will get swings in a hitting cage that is marked with designated scoring areas off a pitching machine.

Grade levels are 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12.  Individuals not signed up with a team will be assigned to one.  Cost for the five-week session is $60 for individual and $200 for a team.

Instruction is provided 20 minutes prior to game time.
