Kirksville defeated Republic one to nothing in the state softball semi final.

The Tigers scored their only run in the tenth inning when Danielle Lewellen scored on a Kelsey Jacques ground ball to second.

Kirksville's Jackie Bishop struck out 20 as she picked up the win.

Kirksville will now take on Notre Dame of Cape Girardeau for the state championship at 1 p.m. Saturday.
