Columbia, MO- To the Missouri State Tournament for Kirksville quarterfinal action... at 113 Ethan Rentschler with the 2 point roll over to go up 6-4, Oak Groves Drake Hoffman squares it up here... but it comes down to the Rentschler escape sneaking into the semi's 7-6.

On to 126 Branden Beeler gets the take down, but loses 2-7, he bounced back in the wrestle-backs winning 9-8 and still has a shot at 3rd.

To 170 for Kylan Easley, hands down the best move of the day for the Tigers with the ankle grab roll-over. He won 6-1.

At 182 Mckenna Cook won by major decision 15-0 and joins Rentschler and Easley in the semi's.

"I felt like it was a good match I did my moves. Coaches really helped me out in practice during the week, got a lot of the new stuff he taught me and it turned out to help me win and teched the kid so we get an extra team point," Makenna Cook said.

To 220 for senior Logan Summers getting the take-down which ended up winning him the close one 3-1 he flexes for the Kirksville fans as he moves on to the semi's.

And ending at heavyweight for Austin Dovin, he had to face unbeaten Maliek Collins... Collins used his size to his advantage knocking Dovin to the back-draw by fall, here's Coach Powell.

"Well so far I think this sessions gone good for our guys. I know we've got some tough battles yet to come, but we're gonna keep wrestling our tournament and wrestle as deep as we can and these guys are showing a lot of great skill."
