(AP) -- Truman volleyball sophomore Allie Brak was named the MIAA Hitter of the Week after averaging 4.36 kills per set and hitting .363 as part of a 4-0 weekend for the Bulldogs at the Washburn Fall Classic.
 
The sophomore from The Colony, Texas, was the top MIAA player at the WU Fall Classic in kills per set and was the top outside hitter at the event in hitting percentage.

She was named to the event’s all-tournament team, raising her season average to a team-high 3.69 kills/set and a .248 attack mark.
 
She posted at least 13 kills in all four matches during the weekend, including a 15 kill, .361 mark vs. East Central in the opener followed by an 18-kill, 16-dig double-double against Harding in Friday’s nightcap.

The 20th double-double of her career preceded a dominating day two that saw her hit .407 on 13 kills against Southwestern Oklahoma State before putting down 15 kills and hitting .500 against Southeastern Oklahoma.

 She averaged 4.96 points per set and added a 2.43 digs per set mark defensively to add to her weekend numbers.
 
Brak, an all-MIAA honorable mention selection last year as a freshman, received the conference’s weekly accolades for the first time in her career and became the first Bulldog outside hitter to earn the award since September 2010.

She was also named to the WU all-tournament team as Truman improved to 16-4 overall on the season
 
The Bulldogs return to action at No. 1 Nebraska-Kearney (Friday, 6pm) and at Fort Hays State (Saturday, 3pm) this weekend.
