Mizzou Madness on Oct. 12 at Mizzou Arena will be televised live nationally on ESPN3 starting at 7 p.m. CT.

Missouri is one of just seven schools across the country with its event being aired on ESPN3 in its entirety, and live excerpts of Mizzou Madness will air on ESPNU's seventh annual Midnight Madness Tip off event.

Missouri joins Florida State, Kentucky, North Carolina State, North Carolina, Pittsburgh and Syracuse with live telecasts on ESPN3. Mitch Holthus and Stephen Bardo will call the action in Columbia.

ESPN3 will continue complete live coverage of seven school sites throughout the evening. ESPNU studio will provide fans with a "whip-around" look at highlighted teams coast-to-coast from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m..

The madness coverage will extend into its final hour on ESPNU's nightly entertainment show, UNITE, with its inaugural Midnight Madness Special.

"What a great complement to our fans and our basketball program," Head Coach Frank Haith said. "Mizzou Arena is one of the toughest home courts in college basketball and to open our season with ESPN in the house is a great way to showcase everyone involved with our programs."
