The Truman golf team cut five strokes off its day one team score and finished ninth in the Drury Fall Shootout, held at Silo Ridge Country Club on Monday and Tuesday.
After shooting a 332 on day one, the Bulldogs cut it to 327 on day two and were led by freshman Kim Barmettler’s 80-81 two-day score.
Senior Jessica Tomash also carded an 81 on day two, while Courtney Cisler (82) and Riley Keltner (83) also counted towards the team score.
Lynn Dreisilker shot an 87 on day two as the fifth member of the Bulldog team, while Kathryn Hogan fired the top round of the day with an 80 competing as an individual.
The Bulldogs were the top MIAA program at the event, besting Missouri Western (11th), Fort Hays State (16th) and Southwest Baptist (19th).
Truman will be back in action this Saturday and Sunday at the Illinois Wesleyan Fall Invitational at Ironwood GC in Normal, Ill.
