(AP) - Missouri scored five runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to rally past New Mexico State 6-2 in an elimination game in the Tucson Regional on Saturday night.

Trailing 2-1 in the eighth, Conner Mach hit a one-out double and scored the tying run on Dane Opel's single down the right-field line.

Michael McGraw tripled to drive in the go-ahead run, and after a walk to Andreas Plackis, Scott Sommerfield hit a two-run triple to make it 5-2 for Missouri (35-24).

Eric Garcia capped the scoring one out later with an RBI single.

Jeff Emens (4-1) pitched three scoreless innings of relief for the win.

New Mexico State's offense came into the postseason ranked in the top 10 in the country, but managed four runs in two games.

The Aggies (33-27) scored twice in the first inning, but never touched the plate again.
