Voting ends today for the new Cy-Hawk Trophy

(AP) -- Online voting ends today for the design of a new trophy for the Iowa-Iowa State football game.

Barring a late rally, the winning design shows the teams' mascots, Cy for the Cyclones and Herky for the Hawkeyes, standing under a football and in front of corn.

People didn't like the original design showing a farm family huddled around a bushel of corn.

So far, more than 5,000 people have picked between one of the three options at www.iowacorncyhawkseries.com
