Indian Hills sharpshooter Gary Ricks Jr. will continue his playing career at Drake University next year.

Ricks Jr. was named to the NJCAA All American Team as an Honorable Mention this year.

He and teammate Jameel McKay were the first All American selections from Hills since Dwight Buycks and Dwight Hardy three years ago.

The guard made 170 three pointers during his career falling just short of the Warriors career mark.

He averaged just a little over 11 points this season, his sophomore campaign.

Ricks Jr. will be going to a Drake team that is coming off a 18-16 year and a loss in the 2nd round of the CollegeInsider.com Tournament.
