Senior Devon Myers moved into the top five in Bulldog career hits and eclipsed 100 career RBIs but it wasn’t enough as Truman fell in a pair of conference games on Saturday 4-2 and 6-4 to Southwest Baptist University (Mo.) on Friday.

The teams will resume the series on Saturday at noon.

Myers went 3-for-7 with a homer and two runs scored and moved past Aaron Royster (1991-94) for fifth all-time in hitting with 177 hits.

His three RBIs on the day tied him with Rick Resh (1981-84) for third in Truman history with 100.

In addition, Steven Rose was 4-for-8 on the afternoon and now has 170 career hits.
