IHCC falls to Monroe 81 to 69

Indian Hills lost to Monroe 81 to 69 in the first round of the National Junior College Basketball Tournament.

Monroe went on a 15 to 0 run in the first half and they led it 17 to 5.

Indian Hills came back to cut the lead to 50 to 49 in the second half but Monroe came back to win it 81 to 69.

Jameel McKay led the warriors with 19 points and 14 rebounds.

IHCC will face East Mississippi Wednesday afternoon at 3.
