(AP) -- Bitter rivals will play for the final time in the regular season on Saturday when No. 3 Missouri visits fourth-ranked Kansas.
Their series began in 1907, and the Jayhawks lead 171-95 overall.
That includes an 88-33 mark in Lawrence, where Kansas has won the last 12 meetings.
There's a lot riding on making that 13 in a row. Kansas (23-5, 13-2 Big 12) can earn a share of an eighth straight Big 12 title with a win over the Tigers (25-3, 12-3).
For both teams, a win represents bragging rights in perpetuity.
The Tigers are heading to the SEC next season, and the Jayhawks have expressed no intention of playing them out of conference.
So besides potential meetings in future tournaments,
Saturday's game will represent the end of an era.
