(AP) -- Joey Walls, Karen Grauel and Cindy Grauel all earned all-region honors this past weekend at the NCAA Division II South Central meet held in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Walls finished seventh to lead the Bulldog men and completed the 10K course in 31:28.60. It was the best finish by a men’s runner from Truman since Alan Heincker finished third at the 2003 regional.
Karen Grauel became a three-time all-region runner with her 11th place finish on Saturday. Karen ran 22:17.5 to place 11th in the race while sister Cindy Grauel earned her first all-region accolades with a 19th place finish in a time of 22:34.00.
Karen placed fourth last season and ninth her freshman year at the regional race.
