The Sooners Have Had The Tigers Number Lately

The series history between Mizzou and Oklahoma has been decidedly in favor of the Sooners over the years, but that really shouldn't come as a surprise, given that the Sooners are one of the more successful programs of all time.

The Sooners hold a 66-24-5 lead in the previous 95 matchups, but the Tigers had a monumental win in their last meeting, when Mizzou claimed a 36-27 upset win in Columbia, Mo. on Homecoming, to break a 7-game losing streak to Oklahoma.

Prior to last year's Tiger win, the two previous meetings between MU and OU came in the Big 12 Championship Game, with a BCS bowl bid on the line.

The Sooners prevailed both times, dashing MU's hopes for a first-ever BCS berth.

Oklahoma has won 18 of the last 20 games in the series, and if you take it back to 1970, they've won 31 of the last 35 meetings.
