Freshman utility player Kelsey Bollman was named a second-team all-MIAA selection, while juniors Mary Manley and Bridget Schade, along with sophomore Laura Miller, were selected to the conference’s honorable mention squad.
After hovering around the .400 mark all season, Bollman closed her first year at the collegiate level with a .372 average that included 14 doubles, six triples and seven home runs.
She was one of the MIAA’s best hitters all season long, ranking among the conference’s best in batting average (7th), slugging percentage (2nd), doubles (4th), triples (1st) and home runs (13th).
Laura Miller picked up her second straight honorable mention accolade in as many seasons as a Bulldog outfielder, completing her season with a .327 batting average.
She led the Bulldogs and finished the year third in the MIAA in doubles with 16, while also ranking fifth in the league in triples and seventh in stolen bases.
She, along with fellow all-MIAA honorable mention honoree Mary Manley, played in all 48 games this season.
Manley ranked second on the Bulldogs with a .329 batting average and totaled 14 doubles – good for second on the squad and fourth in the MIAA.
She had a team-leading 28 RBI and posted a .984 fielding percentage in more than 360 total defensive plays at first base.
Bridget Schade (Herculaneum, Mo., Herculaneum) also picked up conference accolades in her first season at Truman after hitting .325 with six home runs.
She drew a team-high 14 walks and drove in 22 runners in 44 games played.
