Kyle Arthaud – Hannibal, Mo. (Hannibal High School)
6-0; 190 lbs
Position: Defensive Back
Arthaud was a quarterback, receiver and defensive back for Coach Mark St. Clair and the Hannibal Pirates. He was a member of three straight North Central Missouri Conference championships and has been named all-conference in all three positions played. Arthaurd helped the Pirates to a 9-3 record in 2010 as they claimed the Missouri Class four, district 13 championship before falling in the second round to Harrisonville 21-13. He is also an outfielder and pitcher on the Pirate baseball team.
Charlie Brynac – St. Louis, Mo. (St. Louis University High)
6-4, 300 lbs
Position: Offensive Line
Brynac was named first-team all-Metro Catholic football league as an anchor on the offensive line. Brynac was a 2010 team captain for the Junior Bills and head coach Gary Kornfeld. SLUH was 4-6 last season while competing in class six, Missouri’s largest high schools. Brynac was also a two-time all-conference academic selection.
J.B. Clark – Jupiter, Fla. (Jupiter High) TRANSFER from Lehigh (Pa.) University

Position: Quarterback
Clark is a transfer from Lehigh (Pa.) University where he made 19 starts for the Football Championship Subdivision team over the past three seasons. Clark threw for nearly 4,000 yards with 37 touchdown passes and added five rushing touchdowns for the Mountain Hawks. As a sophomore, Clark earned most valuable player honors in the nation’s oldest rivalry as he led the Mountain Hawks to their first victory in four seasons over the Lafayette Leopards. The following year, Clark won the award again as he completed passes of 17 and eight yards in overtime and threw for 292 yards in the 27-21 victory over the then 23rd ranked Leopards in the 145th meeting. In high school, Clark was a Florida 6A all-state selection along with garnering all-county and all-area accolades.
Steven Day – Belleville, Ill. (Belleville West)
5-11; 192 lbs
Position: Center
Day was named the defensive most valuable player by the Belleville News-Democrat and earned all-city and all-conference honors for coach Cameron Pettus. While playing on both sides of the ball, Day recorded 84 tackles, eight sacks and had three returns for 37 yards. Day is also an accomplished track and field athlete with a 14.9 time in the 110 meter hurdles and times of 39.2 and 56.42 in both the 300 and 400 meter hurdle events.
Gavin Frevert – Jefferson City, Mo. (Helias High School)
6-3, 270 lbs
Position: Defensive Line
Frevert recorded 106 tackles with six for loss and two sacks as a starting defensive tackle in both his junior and senior seasons for the Crusaders and Coach Christ Hentges. Over the three years Frevert lettered on the varsity squad, Helias went 33-8 and played in two Missouri Class four state championship games. Frevert was a senior captain and was named to the all-district team as both an offensive and defensive lineman while also earned all-area defensive line status. Frevert broke the school record with a 388-pound bench press and was named the school’s lifter of the year. He is also the starting heavyweight for the Crusader wrestling team.
Devin Gillespie - St. Louis, Mo. (Hazelwood Central)
6-1; 215 lbs
Position: Defensive End
Gillespie was a 2010 all-state honoree while also being name twice to the Suburban North all-conference team. In his three years on the varsity level, Gillespie’s Hawks went 38-4 and played in three straight Missouri class six title games, winning two of them. Coach Richard Nixon’s squad earned a top 25 national ranking. Gillespie is also an accomplished high school wrestler and competes in shot put and discus for the school’s track and field team.
Brad Hardin - O’Fallon, Mo. (Fort Zumwalt West)
6-3, 290lbs
Position: Offensive Lineman
Hardin was a team captain and two year starter on the offensive line for Coach Paul Day. Hardin was a 2010 all-Gateway Athletic Conference South performer as the Jaguars went 10-3 before falling the Missouri class six semi-finals to eventual state champion Rockhurst. In his three years of varsity play, Hardin gave up just three sacks. Hardin competes on the track and field team in the shot put and discus. He is a three-time honoree on the GAC-South all-academic team.
Luke Lamar - Crystal Lake, Ill (Prairie Ridge HS)
6-1, 175 lbs
Position: -Defensive Back
Lamar recorded 134 tackles, five interceptions and 11 tackles for loss as a junior and senior for the Chris Schremp and the Prairie Ridge Wolves. The team posted an 11-2 record in 2010 and allowed just eight points per game in winning the Fox Valley Conference Fox Division. Lamar earned all-Area and all-conference accolades and was also a kick returner with 630 yards his senior season. Lamar is currently a member of the school’s basketball team and broke the school record in the long jump with a mark of 21-07.00
Aaron Pearson - Palm Coast, Fla. (Flagler Palm Coast HS)
5-7, 175 lbs
Position: Running Back
Pearson was a three-year letterwinner playing for the Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs. He was named the team’s offensive most valuable player as a freshman and then led the team in force fumbles as a junior including a game changing fumble that sparked the Bulldogs to a comeback over rival Palatka. Pearson is also a member of the school’s weightlifting team and plays outfield for the Bulldogs’ baseball team. Pearson’s father, Tony Pearson, lettered in 1979 for the then-Northeast Missouri State Bulldogs.
Zach Tobin – Bethalto, Ill. (Civic Memorial)
5-11, 185 lbs
Position: Quarterback
Tobin was selected as the large school’s player of the year by the Alton Telegraph after leading Civic Memorial to their first Mississippi Valley Conference title since 2001 and first outright championship since 1995. Tobin threw for nearly 2,700 yards his senior season going 216-of-319 with 31 touchdown passes to nine interceptions. For his career, Tobin was a four-year starter and passed for 5,904 yards with 59 touchdown passes for the Eagles and Coach Rick Reinhart
Nicholas Tufts - Fenton, Mo. (Northwest HS)
6-4, 285lbs
Position: Offensive Line
Tufts has been a staple of the offensive line for Coach Scott Greling and the Northwest Lions over the past four seasons. He has earned all-Suburban West conference honors three straight years while also placing sixth in the 2010 Missouri State Wrestling championship in the heavyweight division.
Pete White Jr. - Lee’s Summit, Mo. (Lee’s Summit)
5-8, 160lbs
Position: Wide Receiver
White was a considerable element for the Tigers as they were Missouri Class five, District nine runners-up and finished the 2010 season with an 8-5 record. Coach Eric Thomas’ ballclub fell in the section round to rival and eventual state champion Lee’s Summit West 42-39. White picked off two passes including a key steal in a 13-10 win over Lee’s Summit North in September. As a receiver, White had eight catches for 128 yards with a long of 40. White also competes on the school’s track and field team as a sprinter.
