Two road games in a three-day span await the Truman Women’s Basketball team
as they open 2011 portion of their season on Monday night in Hays, Kan. The Bulldogs
will face Fort Hays State on Monday night and then travel and play the University
of Nebraska-Omaha on Wednesday night with both games tipping off at 5:30
p.m.
Last year the Bulldogs came away with two road wins on this trip and will be
looking for their fourth consecutive road victory when they tip off against the Tigers
on Monday.
Truman played their final non-conference game against the University of Illinois-
Springfield last Wednesday night and came away with a dominating 17-point victory.
The Bulldogs grabbed 48 rebounds with 19 on the offensive end while the Prairie
Stars mustered just 18 total rebounds in the 67-50 victory on the road. Breanna
Daniels led all scorers with 20 points while Erin Glogovsky pulled down 10 rebounds.
Daniels is fourth in the conference in scoring at 16.3 points per game and has
scored in double figures in 14 straight games dating back to last season.
The 20 point outing against UIS was her sixth of her career and second this season. She is
shooting 41% from the field and 41% from beyond the arc.
