Truman Baseball Camps Start In January

(AP) -- Area youth baseball players will have the opportunity to participate in a pair of Truman Baseball camps this January.

The winter hitting league will begin on January 9th while the annual Pitching and Catching Clinic will be on Jan. 22nd.

The Hitting League is a five week competition among four-person teams that gives players a chance to take some swings during the winter season.

The cost is $60 per person or a complete team of four can sign up for $200.  Deadline is January 3rd.

The annual Pitching & Catching clinic will be on Jan. 22nd in Pershing Arena and will cost $40 per player and has a deadline of Jan. 18th.
