AMES, Iowa (AP) - Iowa State quarterbacks Austen Arnaud and
Jerome Tiller shook off shaky starts in Iowa State's spring game,
rallying to throw for a combined 460 yards and three touchdowns.

Arnaud, the incumbent starter, threw a pair of first-half interceptions,
including one that linebacker Jesse Smith brought back 39 yards for
a touchdown. Tiller, the backup, also tossed a first-half pick.

Arnaud finished 22-of-35 passing for 250 yards and a late TD
pass in Saturday's scrimmage. Tiller was 14-of-24 passing for
210 yards with two touchdowns and one interception.

Tiller, who played mostly against the second-string defense,
also ran for a 65-yard score.
