(AP) -- Go Daddy executive chairman and founder Bob Parsons announced Thursday that Patrick will appear in the website domain provider's two Super Bowl ads on Feb. 3.

Go Daddy recently signed New York agency Deutsch Inc. to produce its two 30-second Super Bowl spots, the first time the company has gone outside for the ads it has done itself since 2005.

The move raised speculation that Patrick, who has appeared in more Super Bowl ads than any other celebrity with 10, would no longer have such a prominent role in advertising with the company.

Parsons put an end to it at Go Daddy's offices in Scottsdale, saying he never had a doubt Patrick would be in the company's Super Bowl ads.
