Indian Hills Community College volleyball coach Lyndsey Lyon signed her eighth new recruit to a national letter of intent today.

Stephanie Fernandez Rodriguez from Caguas, Puerto Rico, made her decision to play for the Warriors while on her visit to the college. Rodriguez, a 5’9” outside hitter, was named the most valuable player in seven high school tournaments.

She also plays on the Caguas Criollas Club Team that is coached by Freddy Alvarez. Rodriguez was an all-star at last year’s junior national tournament.

Her club team will compete at the Puerto Rican Junior National Tournament again this summer.
