KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- The Kirksville High School cross country team competed in its only home meet of the season on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at the Kirksville Country Club.

Senior David Huskisson set a personal best and course record of 16:10:97.

Senior Lauren Updyke placed first among the girls with her season best of 21:14:53.

The Kirksville boys and girls squads each took second place in Tuesday’s meet.

The Kirksville cross country team will travel to Hannibal Saturday, Oct. 18 for the conference meet.  It starts at 9:45 a.m.  The boys will run the first race of the day.

Boys – 1, David Huskisson, 16:10.97, course record.  5, Jared Fox, 19:07.42.  6, Henry Janssen, 19:24.73.  10, Andrew Johnson, 20:02.7.  11, Brandon Harrison, 20:17.43.  Ryan Gross, 21:06.8.  Paul Davis, 21:24.55.  Caleb Foglesong, 21:50.65. Cooper Smith, 22:18.47.

Girls – 1, Lauren Updyke, 21:14.53.  10, Brier Skogsberg, 23:46.07.  12, Niki Kenney, 25:54.24.  13, Estela Gingerich, 26:15.72.  16, Margo Kraus, 28:58.23.
