Due to wet field conditions as a result of melting snow in Kirksville, the Truman softball team will continue its road trip to start the 2013 season on Saturday afternoon.

The originally scheduled home doubleheader against Upper Iowa will now be played on the campus of Lindenwood (Mo.) University in Saint Charles, Mo., beginning at 1:00 pm.

The Bulldogs (10-4, 1-1 MIAA) will face the Peacocks (9-5, 0-0 NSIC) for the second and third times this season after UIU picked up an 8-6 win in the opener of the MIAA/NSIC Crossover Dome Tournament on Feb. 23 in Rochester, Minnesota.

After having played at Lindenwood on Wednesday, the Bulldogs will return to the St. Louis area for the third time in one week on Tuesday (March 19) to face future GLVC-foe Missouri-St. Louis. From there,

Truman will once again try to host its home opener, beginning at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 22 against Missouri Southern.
