Alex Oriakhi was named the SEC Player of the Week on March 4 after leading Missouri to wins over South Carolina and LSU.
The Lowell, Mass., native was near perfect from the floor in the two wins, hitting 15-of-17 shots (.882) while averaging 18.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.0 blocked shots per game.
Oriakhi recorded his 10th double-double of the season in the win against LSU, scoring 18 points and grabbing 10 boards. It's the most double-doubles for a Tiger since Linas Kleiza grabbed 10 in 2004-05.
