Putnam County hires Dave Cavanah as football coach

Putnam County has named Dave Cavanah as their new head football coach.

The Hall of Fame coach has taken four teams to the state semifinals and one to the state finals.

Cavanahs last stop was Princeton and he said he had retired.

But he's back with the midgets where his sole role will be to coach football.
