The Iowa State men gave a beating to Texas Tech in Ames 86-66.

Chris Babb and Will Clyburn had 17 points each while Melvin Ejim had 13 points and 13 rebounds.

The Cyclones  are currently tied for 4th in the Big 12 with Oklahome.

They host No. 9 Kansas on Monday.

Just when the Iowa Hawkeyes' thought they were out of the unlucky streak after winning 3 straight, they are right back in the hole after a close lose on the road at Nebraska.

It was tied with 9 seconds to go as Nebraska's Dylan Talley drained a 3.

Aaron White contributed a double-double (15 pts, 13 reb)  in the losing effort.

Roy Marble tied the game high with 18 points.

The Hawks play at home against Purdue Wednesday.
