No rest for Missouri Basketball as the Tigers have a quick turnaround before a Nov. 13 contest vs. Alcorn State at Mizzou Arena

Missouri is coming off an 83-69 victory over SIUE on Saturday, while Alcorn defeated Oakwood University (Huntsville, Ala.) 85-41 on Sunday

Alcorn will also play at Stanford on Thursday

This game is part of the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament, however the outcome does not impact the field in Nassau, Bahamas

Alcorn is lead by LeAntwan Luckett, a Top 100 recruit by Rivals.com.

Mizzou has a host of newcomers this season, but it was a pair of familiar faces,

Laurence Bowers and Phil Pressey, leading the charge in the season-opening victory, combining for 39 points, 12 boards and 10 assists in the double-figure triumph

Bowers scored 20 points in his return from knee surgery (18 in the second half), while Pressey narrowly missed a double-double with 19 points and nine assists.

Missouri's talented group of newcomers combined for 44 points and 38 rebounds as well

Freshman Negus Webster-Chan led that key group with 11 points, four assists and three steals in 34 minutes.
