SAN FRANCISCO -- The St. Louis Rams tied the San Francisco 49ers in overtime Sunday night. St. Louis had the lead almost the entire game, until 17 points scored by the 49ers in the fourth quarter sent the teams to extra minutes. With neither team scoring in overtime, this was the 18th tie in the NFL since 1974.
