The Truman men’s soccer team will get a chance to compete for an MIAA tournament title this weekend in Olathe, Kansas, as the Bulldogs open up the four-team conference tournament on Thursday at 4:00 pm against Northeastern (Okla.) State.

The Bulldogs (10-5-1) earned the No. 3 seed after closing the season with five wins in their final six matches and will square off with second-seeded NSU in the first of two semifinals at the Olathe District Activities Center.

Lindenwood and Fort Hays State will meet at 7:00 pm on Thursday with the two advancing teams set to play at 11:00 am on Saturday for the conference title.

Admission for the conference tournament will be $5 each day for everyone aged 6-over.

Official NCAA tournament procedures will be in place, with the teams observing normal timing rules (two 45-minute halves, followed by two 10-minute golden goal overtimes if tied) before the implementation of penalty kicks to determine an advancing team if necessary.
